Terms of Service — Emerald Lite and VizAi Tech

Emerald Lite and VizAi Tech are work tools provided by VizAi Tech for authorized organization users. These terms describe appropriate use of the apps. If your organization has a separate service agreement with us, that agreement also applies to its workspace and services.

Your account and authorization

Use only an account and workspace you are authorized to access. Keep sign-in credentials private and contact your organization administrator or matt@vizaitech.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not attempt to bypass authentication, organization boundaries, device permissions or usage restrictions. Access may be restricted when needed to address unauthorized use or protect the service and its users.

Recording and work content

Only record people, locations and information when you have the necessary authorization and consent. Follow applicable law, workplace rules and site safety procedures. Do not upload unlawful content or content that infringes another person's rights. You and your organization retain your rights in your work content; you authorize its processing as needed to provide the requested recording, storage, playback, assistance and review features.

Emerald Lite records silent video. VizAi Tech links work records and optional silent video to Repair Orders, and can provide separate voice and visual AI features when enabled. Shared work content is accessible to authorized organization personnel according to their roles.

Human decisions and safety

Instructions, voice responses and visual AI assessments are aids to your work. AI can be incorrect or incomplete. Verify guidance against the equipment, manufacturer instructions and applicable safety procedures. A technician must explicitly complete work; an AI response is not approval, certification or manager sign-off. Do not use these apps as an emergency or safety-critical control system.

Devices, availability and local files

Glasses features require compatible hardware, the Meta companion app, the requested permissions and eligibility for the relevant Meta integration. Installing the app does not itself grant that eligibility. Network access and organization settings affect which features are available. Your separate Meta account and hardware services are subject to Meta's applicable terms.

Keep the app available while required uploads finish and verify their status. Unsynced recordings may exist only on your device. Uninstalling the app, clearing its storage or losing the device can erase those files. Signing out does not necessarily erase local recordings. Features and availability can change as the service and supported devices evolve.
